Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC)

Individual Participation

For individuals wishing to participate, Yes! And… has partnered with Friends of Education which has secured over $5,000,000 in tax credit funding and which makes it simple for you to be involved.

Donors commit to participating for two consecutive years. For individuals and families the minimum contribution in 2024 & 2025 is $5,000 per year. Donors will receive a 90% tax credit from Pennsylvania for 2 consecutive years. The remaining 10% is eligible for a federal tax deduction, further reducing a donor’s total tax obligation.

Here’s how it works: For PA families with a household income of $150,000, a contribution of $5,000 offsets their tax liability. The net cost of making this gift is roughly $500!! In essence, it costs a dime to give a dollar. The application process is easy, but the benefits for Yes! And… students are enormous.

Corporate Participation

Redirect your PA tax payment to support scholarships for kids at Yes! And… Collaborative Arts!

Creating opportunities for scholarships for our youth is a top priority at Yes! And… To date in 2024, we have provided 200 scholarships totaling $125,000! Year over year we provide over 60% of youth at Yes! And… with a scholarship, creating access for all to participate.

Through Pennsylvania's Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program, individuals and businesses can reduce their tax liability and claim a 90% state income tax credit while supporting scholarships at Yes! And…

Several Yes! And… donors are participating in this exciting program, and we’re eager to connect more donors with this unique opportunity! Tax credits available for individuals and businesses who want to participate before the end of 2024.

Your small business (or your employer) can donate to Yes! And… through the EITC tax credit program as well. The minimum contribution in 2024 & 2025 is $5,000.  Businesses will receive a 90% tax credit from Pennsylvania for 2 consecutive years. Businesses paying taxes in Pennsylvania can receive up to $750,000 in tax credits annually. Visit the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development website for more information on the EITC  program.
