Open Positions

Part-time Office Administrator

The Part-time Office Administrator provides support for the YACA staff fulfilling the basic duties of the organization. This individual will report to the Executive Director or Program Director, but will also work with other YACA staff. This is a part-time, hourly position, providing an expected 15-20 hours per week of administrative work.

Duties & Responsibilites:

In General

  • Communication

    • -Communicate with YACA staff

    • -Communicate with outside individuals (parents, participants, community members, etc.)

  • Clearances

    • -Child Abuse Clearance

    • -PA Criminal History Clearance

    • -FBI Fingerprinting Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Basic office work: answering phones, responding to emails, filing, etc.

  • Maintain office files, including participant and staff files

  • Updating and entering information into systems  (DonorPerfect, Quickbooks)

  • Generating and distributing marketing materials

  • Assist in program evaluations and data entry

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the office as well as the shared building spaces

  • Other duties as assigned

Education, Qualification, Experience and Skills Required

Education/Qualification: High School diploma and demonstrated experience in office management or administration and marketing.


Experience/Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, highly organized, detail-focused, and customer service oriented

  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Docs


Timeline

The contracted dates of this position are from May 1 through September 30 (this contract may be extended beyond September 30 with approval). This position is for 15-20 hours per week. Specific work schedule is to be determined.


Compensation

This individual will be compensated bi-weekly starting at the beginning of the contract and receive the final payment after the terms of this contract are completed. The compensation offered with this job is $15-$17 per hour.
