As you probably know, SHADOW Company is our company of high school theatre makers. Some of them also go through our Junior Staff job-training program. In addition to meeting monthly all year long, we also create a show each summer for the Philadelphia Fringe Festival. This year's show is extremely creative and inventive as it features a specific kind of performance art that allows the audience to really feel a part of the show! The "show" is a popular game show called Bullseye where a faceless voice makes contestants answer questions that no polite person should want to answer. In light of the Trayvon Martin shooting and the Tyler Clementi suicide, these teens take a hard look at the differences we humans have and how we overcome them.

You can help!

Every year, we try to raise money specifically for this program. And we do it through the medium that these teens know well - the internet! We post our requests to Facebook, Twitter, anywhere that we feel people might be able to pony up a dollar. Our goal is to raise $1000 for the program, which goes to offset the cost of bringing a show to the Fringe Festival.
