Important Auction Information (please read!)

Thank you for participating in our fourth annual on-line auction. Your gift to us will enable us to continue providing quality collaborative arts education programming for youth here in the Philadelphia area.

When you bid, please note that the "Current bid" listed next to that item will not automatically change. The auctioneer will update the bids at the end of every day. Updates will be posted more frequently as the bidding nears its end. When you bid on an item, you will be asked for an email address as well as a telephone number. In order to receive the items in time for the holidays, we will be contacting winners December 11-13 to get payment information so that the items can be shipped before December 16. Please submit the contact information that is most appropriate for us to reach you Friday, Saturday or Sunday, December 11-13.

If you need to cancel your bid, simply email ca.auction.info@gmail.com
with your name, item name and bid amount and your bid will be erased.

Payments can be accepted by check or credit card. After bidding is completed on Thursday, Dec 10th, winners will be contacted.

If you do not win an item you wanted, please feel free to contact the donor of the item to buy it or another similar item directly from them. We would love for you to support our supporters. If there is no contact information listed for the donor, send an email to ca.auction.info@gmail.com with a request for it and we will do our best to connect you.

Please understand that, in general, the auctioneer knows little more about an item than what is listed in its description.

A Healing Painting: "Red Glow"

Winning bid: $35.00

Description:
This is an 8”x10” painting on clear plastic, framed in silver. It is part of a series of paintings created to provide a resource for individuals who are healing or restoring themselves in some way. The healing quality of these paintings comes from their images and colors the energy, movement and texture of the paint and the effect these aspects have when they respond to light and emanate out from the surface. In the daylight the paintings glow, much like stained-glass. They are translucent, revealing some, but not all, of the scene outside. When the sun comes through these paintings the colors radiate out and are cast upon the window sills, floors and people. They are painted on clear plastic to enable them to be safely placed in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, senior living spaces and personal settings. They are meant for care takers as well as patients, and anyone in service of the effort towards healing and personal restoration.
